ABOUT EFNET and the IRC

As you probably know, Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a great way to chat to other people interactively.  Depending on the network you connect to, there are a great many channels to chose from.  Our channel, #gayspank is on the EFNET network. This is probably the most-used network in IRC land, as it caters not only for the USA, but for Europe, Africa and Asia too.  So you see, when you join our channel, you can talk to other people with spanking interests around the globe.

ABOUT #GAYSPANK

The channel is a forum for people who have an interest in the topic of Male-to-Male spanking.  As you can appreciate, this is a wide ranging subject, with many variations on the theme.  We do not discriminate, although try to draw a line at excessive S&M and BDSM.  There are other channels on IRC dedicated to those subjects.  You can appreciate that not everyone shares the same focus.  Some of our regulars enjoy role-play scenes, others prefer a more straightforward scene.

We like to feel is that everyone's interests are accepted.  As with many other channels, we have our problems at times, and our little squabbles, but they are generally settled quickly. If there are serious problems, we have a channel management Team (The Crew) who can arbitrate if things get out of hand.  We are a community, and as such we hope that everyone will get along, and they generally do.

One thing we do ask.  Anyone who joins the channel must be over the age of consent for male-male activity.  Whilst we are not specifically a sex-oriented channel, there is obviously an erotic content to many of the discussions on the channel.  Although the channel is pprimarily a discussion channel, there are times when cyber-spanking takes place.  This can get quite involved at times, and the content of the channel could be upsetting to young people.  If you are in any doubt, please refer to our channel Policy and Charter (Policy).  This is our set of rules that the channel runs by, and will answer any questions you might have about conduct, and the organisation of the channel.

THE USERS

As mentioned abouve, there are many different personalities on the channel.  We have 'Masters', 'Daddies', 'Uncles', 'School Masters', 'Big Brothers' as well as the usual 'Tops', along with 'Sons', 'Schoolboys', 'Houseboys' and other sub/bottom types.  We all share a common interest in spanking, and come onto the channel for relaxation.  No-one pays to join the channel, and no-one gets paid for running it.  So you see we cover a wide range of interests, within our topic.  Why not drop in and join us!
